Agreed and quite the understatement. But I assume the leg had to be amputated. Any word on the likelihood of the data being restored at some later date? Or is it all zeros?

I'm waiting for word from mith. Worst case scenario, I'll recreate both my games (Mafia 7 and Twin Peaks mafia) and potentially look through my cache to find copies of old posts.

I'm new around here, but already I get the impression that this board is plagued by persistent problems. It's difficult to get excited about participating in another game when I know there's a good chance that it will be a waste of time. I signed up just two months ago, and there have been at least two board crashes since then.

"Luckily", I just died in both games in which I was participating.

Muser, those were the only major boo-boo's I think, and last time "they" (read mith and Q) were able to restore everything, so don't worry too much just yet.

I should be able to provide the text of Minvitational 2 and the ending text of Minvitational 1 if necessary. I'll go look for a backup of Mafia 6 but I don't think I have one.

A thorough search of my cache revealed only the last page of Twin Peaks mafia. I will recreate the game soon. Still trying to salvage Mafia 7.

Alright, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the stupid files together. For some reason I fail to understand, IE puts temp. int. files in a bunch of differnet folders, and the files all have the same name. So I'm going to have to get creative.

Going to email the tech guys again, as well, maybe they can fix it somehow.

Use the multiple renamer I sent you, add the folder name at the beginning (or end) of each HTML file.

I'd say the easiest way would be for mods to go through and find their games, and post them here. Antrax or I can change the names to something more appropriate.
