Help Me Find This Thread Please?

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Sun Mar 21, 2004 5:04 pm

Post by NanookTheWolf »

I know that I have stated this in another thread already and I am sure that there is a specific place for this, but couldn't resist.

I was just hoping that someone could point me in the right direction the last south park game that was played. I heard that there was one and I can't find the thread anywhere. I would like to use it as light research towards my South Park Mini just to see what kind of roles were used and characters that were involved, that is if it is alright with the mod that modded it.

Thank you

Ok. Can't anyone help me?...If I am making a mistake by saying that there was once a south park game, then please let me know. I only heard that there was from another player, but it could be possible that they are wrong.

I am just hoping for some kind of feedback,

~Nanook

I don't have time right now but try the following:
1) Search for South Park using the search feature.
2) Go to the archived forum (www.mafiascum.net/archive) and search
3) Go to GL and spend hours searching manually ;)

I couldn't find a south park game anywhere on this site, only Stewie saying that he was thinking about running one in this post in August last year. And I could find no reference whatsoever to south park in the archive. That help? Next time click search.

Yeah, I guess it helps, and I did click search, but I thought maybe it was an older game from before the site crashed.

I have a feeling that my friend got mixed up somewhere, possibly between sites. Sorry to inconvenience ya'll.

Thanks for the help Saberkitty, Jeep, and even Polar Boy.. I have come to the conclusion though that there isn't one. I think that my friend just smokes a little too much and was seeing things. Who knows though. Please no one else search for it, because it seems to be a waste of time now. I even looked in the old site and couldn't find anything.

It seems to be a lost cause, so I guess that I don't have to worry about imitating anyone's game then, not like I really was or anythin in the first place, but you know.

Thanks for your help out there!.....

Admittedly, there may be a game that was lost in the crash. There would be no record of that anywhere, so the only way you could find out about it is if someone remembers it(like the moderator or players). Mini games 28-43 were completely lost. There was some good stuff in there too. Like Texas Mafia and Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I think some themed games may have been lost too. So, like I said, it might've been in there.

I've been here since Mini 15...and I don't remember South Park ever being used as a theme.

The list of all games played on the site (well, list of all games since the last time I wasn't lazy) is available in the top post in the queue thread. there's no South Park in the list.

It's kind of off-topic, but I still have Minis 28 and 32 lying around. I put them up on the FTP server someone designated for caches way back when, but I've never seen them reappear anywhere.

We all have those games lying around... in our hearts...

Oh, I see you were serious. Very well...

Remmber some of the smaller crashesÉ There was one right around the time 17 and 18 were starting. That`s the one that made Roadbird disappear.
