Garmr has been indefinitely banned from mafia games for posting moderator communications in a mafia game and for violating the discussion of replacing out rule. He had been banned previously for very similar behavior.

Do not post moderator communications. There are some rules on this site that we have for mafia games that are to make them more enjoyable (toxicity, etc.) and some that are to preserve the integrity of games. This is the latter. We cannot afford to allow any wiggle room or leniency on repeat offenses of the latter type.

These bans are holistic in nature; the incident in Doubles Mafia is only the most recent for both users. It is not the cause, in and of itself, for these bans.

We would like to remind all users that inciting toxicity, participating in toxicity, and escalating toxicity are all considered to be unacceptable behavior by the administrative staff. The fact of someone else breaking a rule does not give you license to do so yourself, and responding disproportionately is the greater offense.

Due to the fact that the user broke this rule under an alt account after being warned for similar behavior under their main account, we are forced to out that particular alt account.

CooLDoG also attempted to delete the most recent occurrences of these latter offenses from the record in an explicit attempt to evade moderator review. Indeed, CooLDoG has violated nearly every conduct rule to some extent or another at some point.

This constitutes a pattern of favoring religiously- and culturally-based oppression, which is unacceptable. For example: here. Given lack of prior actionable offenses, Zulfy's ban will be for six months. Upon return, continued similar conduct will result in a indefinite ban.

Further, he has consistently toed the line in the last few months with the apparent intention of offending and provoking others into actionable behavior while staying just technically within the letter of the rules. This violates the spirit of rule 4, which prohibits pushing those boundaries.
