I am sure there is already an area in which I could look this up, but... I'll ask anyway.

How does one accomplish the great feat of accounting for 1 post (or is my counter broken?)

No, your counter's not broken.

The post count has been set up to only count posts made in mafia games. So in order to get posts, simply sign up for a game in the Queue forum, and play when the game gets under way.
