For some reason, whenever I hit sumbit for a post, it starts to some stuff that makes it look like its posting, but then nothing happens. (The screen stays the same in the posting area) But when I hit back and refresh the page, the new post is up.

Next, the updaters for new posts... when it becomes yellow or whatever, aren't happening

First, you should use good descriptive subjects.

The posting problem is a known issue, but I can't root cause it. As for the second. Try clearing your cache and deleting cookies. It should fix some, if not all, of it.
