[SOLVED?] 500 internal server error when I post

I'm getting an error whilst trying to update the Scummies page.

Btw, the quick and dirty solution in wiki pages is to create a new section by simply writing the section title in (you should have enough characters for that) and then editing the section itself.

So:

Edit the main page: add a new section title (== Title ==).
Submit.
Edit the new section you've created with the new info, and remove its fake title.
Submit.

Ta-da.

I have also made another relatively large post in the same thread. It was mostly in quote tags though. Does that have something to do with it?

Shouldn't, but if you can verify that you can post the same words/characters if they're enclosed in quote tags, that might be valid information.

Another thought would be how many bbcode tags are in the post, total. Those get processed when it's submitted and might be related.

I quoted SpureX's megapost and got a 500 error.

I made two decently large posts without getting a 500 error. It was originally one post but I got a 500 error from that, so I had to split it in two. There were lots of bold tags in it too.

I suspect the bbcode tags may be part/all of the issue. I'll try to do some testing if I have some spare time. I've just noticed that the more bbcode tags I have the easier it seems to be to get the 500 error.

The 500 error is likely caused by the server script hittting a time limit, bb tags add extra processing time.
