Scumchat help?

I have AIM v7.3.6.4. I think I had an earlier version on my other computer before it went all berserk, but I have no idea which version that was. Anyways, every time I log onto scum chat no one except myself is online. On the very rare occasion I'll log on and it'll actually work - others will be online - but generally it's only me. I find it hard to believe that no one else would be online when I used to get online on my other computer very late at night or in the afternoon and at least ten others would be online; which leads me to believe that it's something with my AIM version or the scumchat link. I've tried both links that you have up here: aim:gochat?roomname=ScumChat&Exchange=5 and http:/./forum.mafiascum.net/viewforum.php?f=47 (without the period). If I'm supposed to enter this somewhere in AIM (I never had to on the other computer, and I

gotten it to work once or twice by just clicking the link on this computer, so?) where would that be? Is there an AIM version that is better supported by scumchat? Or is it that nobody's actually been on as of late?

It could be just that no one shows up. Try talking and see if you get a response? There's a bug I guess where sometimes only people on your buddy list show up.

you can't control the exchange you join in 7, and it defaults to 4, but scumchat uses 5. You need to use a different program.
