The MS chat is currently down for me entirely. I get a red exclamation point next to the Site Chat tab and am unable to use the feature at all. It's been this way for >30 minutes.

Yup, done all standard troubleshooting steps. Logged out and back in, closed browser and reopened, cleared browser cache, restarted computer, double-checked internet connection - all the standard "make sure I'm not just an idiot that managed to fuck something up" steps.
