You're not in the Site Chat ban usergroup.

Have you tried a different browser? Also might try disabling and then re-enabling it, if that doesn't work.

Yup, it's almost certainly a browser fuckup then. Javascript off maybe? Recent browser upgrade?

Site chat seems to not be working for me either. Though I no longer have the red circle of death, I still have difficulty typing in it and seeing my words pop up. Also it appears to have frozen.
