Subscription/Email settings

Hello! I might be asking a dumb question, but I can't find the settings anywhere. Here's what I want to do:

- Set so posting in a topic does NOT auto subscribe

OR

- Set email notifications for subscribed topics to send only once per day in an aggregated email, or not at all.

Option 2 is preferable. Anyone know where or how I can do this?
