Flashing Avatar issue

i have an issue where a player's avatar on my iphone flashes but it doesn't flash on my computer. I can't for the life of me understand why it's happening and what i can do to make it stop.

it's quite annoying. Any ideas how to fix this?

Have you PM'ed the player and asked them to upload a static version?

It appears to be a badly-done GIF where the eye is supposed to blink, but the layers are...funny. On my computer they're off-panel entirely.
