Modding a Marathon Game

Are there any requirements for doing so? Do I need a certain amount of playing/modding experience?

Nope. Just create a setup and start a thread in the marathon forum.

As a tip, for a newbie mod, a smaller marathon game would be easier to mod.

Thanks for the advice. As you can see I'm very much a newbie mod. Having a Marathon Game as my first is... interesting, to say the least.

Thats ok

look around for some good micro game setups. A 5 player vengeful is always a good starter.

However, modding a marathon game will not count towards your overall site modding experience.

Yeah I sorta figured that. I figured I might do a 5p open mountainous.
