Some Noob Questions

Hi, I just have a few questions about the Mafia Scum site in general.

1. I noticed that some people have custom user titles. How do you change your user title?
2. How many alts is one person allowed to have?
3. How do I gain access to Speakeasy? I applied twice through Group Memberships in my control panel but was not accepted either of those times.

Sorry if these are dumb, but I haven't been able to find the answers anywhere. Thanks for the help!

1. You can't change it yourself
2. No set number. Don't be dumb though.
3. Apply again once you have 100 posts and have proven that you're not a troll.

Sorry to bump this, but I have two more questions.

A couple of weeks ago, I had applied for Speakeasy access since I have over 100 game posts now. However, my CP says my membership there is still pending. Shouldn't it have been approved or disapproved by now?

And is there any way I can change my name on this account? I'd like to change to the name Symonenko, but I don't want to create an alt with that name since this is my main account and I have the most completed games on it.

Speakeasy access needs to be manually approved, its possible your request just fell through the cracks.

No name changes by policy. It makes old games too confusing to follow.

So you'd think I'd be past the stage of asking "noob" questions, but I have a situation in my User CP that I can't figure out.

I was going to upload a new avatar, but when I got to the avatar section of my User CP, it gave me this message:

"The avatar functionality is currently disabled."

What is going on? Is this a glitch of some sort? I see other people still have avatars, so I'm not sure why mine's not working.

You uploaded multiple inappropriate avatars in a row so I removed your avatar privileges. I don't actually have the authority to enforce such a thing long term so it's in the hands of the staff now. I informed them at the time that I did it, I assume they are just talking internally still if they haven't gotten back to you.

Yes, I was, but the last few avatars I had uploaded had been of a different nature.

I'm not currently staff. I'm an ex-admin, I also do technical stuff for the site so have expanded powers. I didn't remove your initial avatar, a discussion mod did. I saw you very quickly replaced it with a similarly themed one and chose to remove that one, lock your privileges, and forward what I had done to current staff. Feel free to appeal to them about my behavior if you feel I crossed any lines.
