Private Topics with MafSepia

When on a Private Topic using the MafSepia forum style, the forum turns a strange black and purple theme. Intended because I shouldn't be using MafSepia in the first place or a bug?

it turns that colour on all themes

private topics are intentionally purple on all themes to make exceptionally clear when a topic is private (to hopefully avoid people posting in the wrong threads)
