message notification not working for hours after getting msg

Hi, as the title says, I am not receiving any notifications until hours after they were actually received on the account. The first time was with the beginning of the Large Theme game I am currently in, the second time was with the beginning of night 1 of said game (has happened 4 hours ago, still no message).

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've never actually looked at that code but I assume its a design feature?

whenever registering new hydras the activation emails take hours or days to come through, and when switching email accounts I get nothing at all, even after "resending".
