I have to log in twice

and when I do, all the new posts flags are gone and I'm beginning to become irritated. When I log in the first time, it says at the bottom that cuban smoker is logged in, but I most definetely am not. For instance, I cannot check my PM box (not that anyone sends me anything), and I cannot post messages.

Why?

I had that same problem for several days. I think it was fixed when I checked the "Remember me" box.

I still have that exact problem, CS, but when I log in to check my pms it works just fine.

Ah, yes. If I clicked the PM login, it worked like Fletcher said. That should help if you can't use cookies.

This probably still needs to be addressed, however. I am sure it's not meant to work that way.

Fishbulb's right. Check the "log me in automatically" box and there'll be pm's, flags and much rejoicing. Still sucks when I use the computers at work though.

I don't know if it will be any help to those who work out bugs like this, but I've discovered that this only happens to me at home. When I use the library computers, everything clicks along swimmingly.

...but with a reason: I'm having the twice-logging problem too and this is just an inquiry if there's another solution than that of Fletcher's. I'm having this problem both at work and at home.

I used to have this (luckily not any more). Back then what worked was clicking the PHPBB icon in the top left after logging in.

Icon clicking didn't help, but logging through your pm's worked. So I guess I just use it.
