Can't lock thread

I'm having difficulty locking the Newbie 33 thread. The option just seems to be missing. I can do everything else as a mod, just not that. What's going on?

Where are you looking for the lock? See the four icons below "watch this topic..."? You can do it there... and you can lock it in your moderator control panel.

Ah ok. I found the 4 icons at the bottom. I never used them before. If by moderator control panel, you mean the boxes that can be checked under the posting window, well that's what I usually use, but it seems to have gone missing from there.

Yeah, I put the checkbox back... It got lost when I had to revert things because of the automated installer mix up.
