It's a courtesy of my family that I ended up getting used to saying.

The meaning is the same as in English, although I use it in the sense of intensity (it is a great pleasure=hemorrhagic pleasure).

Yes, exactly, el sentimiento es mutuo =)

Changing the subject, do you play chess regularly too?

I was thinking of suggesting, after finishing this event, a blitz chess tournament, but I don't know if that would be possible by forum (time zone differences).

The dynamics of blitz are fun, I've participated in some small online tournaments.

But I feel like it's more mentally tiring to me playing in that mode than the classic, so I took a break.

How would you describe your playstyle as a chess player? Tactical, positional or hybrid?

i almost never play classical/correspondence these days, it's honestly way more taxing to do this than fuck around bullet/blitz for me lol

im a very reckless player. ill usually choose the move that creates fireworks because it looks interesting. my tactics are far better than my positional play

Correspondence is relaxing, there is no need for immediate commitment, but the number of people forgetting games/giving up online is very constant, so it becomes a question of "finding the right person to play with", so maybe that's why it gets monotome.

I tried to play bullet a few times, but I didn't get used to the clock and my muscle memory doesn't seem to flow as well, compared to the blitz, which has more balanced variations of time imo.

Regarding playstyle, mine varies between positional and tactical depending on the game and whether I feel confident or not against my counterpart. One of my weaknesses is being complacent in situations where I should push my advantage and sometimes even after having a good start, I end up leaving space for the opponent to make a comeback and losing the match. In contrast, I believe that I'm consistent in most of my games and have been slowly improving my endgame.

I saw your game with Umlaut and I noticed that you have a good sense of tempo and know how to make smart exchanges, maintaining an aggressive approach. When he tried to get into your rhythm, there was not a comparatively good response from him during the trades and you ended up having a lot of momentum in the middlegame, which was transmitted in an advantage in the endgame by both towers and the bishop. I would say one weakness that I noticed, however, is that maybe you can get really far behind if the trades are not so good for you, but I still haven't seen you playing in this scenario, so maybe I'm talking nonsense

Yeah, but I will try not to take the focus off the game.

It is not very polite considering that we are competing.
