quickhammering was a game action that I felt improved my chance to win. I'm not convinced it was wrong to do. There is a hidden tracker in the game, tracker can be pretty powerful. There's a good chance the quickhammer didn't get me lynched, or I would have been lynched anyway, either one negates that cost. There's a good chance Menalque would have lynched before game outcome anyway. I am sorry if it made you feel bad. I tried to dress it up as best I could to make it less frustrating but I have to play to win

Overall, the first part of the post doesn't make sense. If you are town, I don't see how quickhammering improved your chance to win, unless you're scum.

Finally, gaslighting is a very serious accusation.

I don't mean the highly negative terms gaslighting carries in colloquial use, but I'm not aware of an equivalent term without the baggage that means "misrepresenting information I have access to, to convince me I don't have it." Mafia is a social deduction game that is cutthroat in some ways to the point that the available words and metaphors get pretty ugly. "bus", "lynch", "WIFOM" (references a murder. The film is lighthearted, but still?) etc. "gaslighting" in the sense I'm using it would be a sportsmanlike to win as scum I definitely don't mean to oog shade Iconeum for it he's one of my favorite players

The only reactions to my lolhammer were Menalque's pure rage, your pure rage, and Luca's disdain which seemed redeemable. That's a good indicator my lynch is probably very viable since the way a few townies react is a good predictor of how other townies will react, but all other slots didn't chip in and were all wildcards, several of them could have recognized I wouldn't risk my own neck to lolhammer as scum, perhaps enough of them for me to survive this day phase. So I knew you'd survive today to participate in my mislynch, killing a widely townread player is less important, especially since they can just kill you tonight after you're done participating in the ML.

Basically nightkilling you would be about half as dumb as nightkilling me, which is a lot of dumb.

Strong enough crumbing from the informed could kind of confirm the slot if the crumb is made before either the tracker or backup tracker claims.

Idk to what extent thats fair to factor in.

I think all four roles+not a ninja and a RB still is too towny but I'm not NRG.

Informed's claim is always as believable if not more believable than the fake tracker claim if the informed is first in mc even without the crumb and if town didn't sort the informed vs the scum correctly in addition to not being able to afford the mislynch I think that's a fair loss.

It's also important that it's really hard for the scum to figure out that it's safe to claim tracker. Again, unless they go last in massclaim, which can be regarded as a game town deserves to lose since massclaim is generally towny slots claim first
