The Rules

• ONE: FUNDAMENTALS
  • All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
    
  • There is no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
    
  • Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, backup-moderator, or fellow players. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
    
  • Be courteous and respectful to all your fellow players and the moderating team.
    
  • Play to your Win Condition.
• TWO: DAY PHASE
  • All groups with Private Topics (PTs) will be able to converse during any Day Phases.
    
  • Votes must be in the format of VOTE: PlayerName or
    Vote: PlayerName
    , or they shall not be counted. Abbreviating someone's name is acceptable, so long as I can discern who you were voting for without trouble. If I think it should count as a vote, it will.
    
  • Unvoting is not required, but is much appreciated.
    
  • Once you have reached a simple majority (half of all living players plus one) that person's fate is sealed and they shall be eliminated. Unvoting cannot change their fate.
    
  • Once a player is eliminated the game enters twilight until I arrive and post a death scene. All players may continue to post during Twilight.
    
  • Please post at least once every 48 hours. If you fail to do so, you will be prodded. If you fail to respond to said prod within 24 hours, you will be replaced.
    
  • If you get three or more prods, or fail to respond to a prod by posting in thread within 24 hours (or by PM if at Night), I will begin seeking for a replacement (this means the third prod functions like a notice that you are racing the search for your replacement.)
    
  • A deadline extension may or may not be granted; just ask.
    
  • If no player reaches a simple majority by deadline - no elimination is the result
    
  • Votes and Unvotes shall not count in Twilight.
• THREE: NIGHT PHASE
  • There is no night.
    
    
  • FOUR: CAPITAL OFFENSES
    • Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, or backup-moderator. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
      
    • Do not quote or screenshot from a PT into another PT or Main Thread unless
      all
      participants have access to the PT being quoted.
      
    • There is to be no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
      
    • The following is a list of outlawed shenanigans:
      • Using invisible text, codes, cryptography, etc.
        
      • Editing your posts (if you have the power to do so)
        
      • Insulting other players
        
      • Quoting any PTs you may have access to
    • If any of these offences are committed, I have the right to force-replace you from the game, or, with Listmod permission, modkill you.
  • FIVE: MISCELLANEOUS
    • This is a game. Have fun, and keep the game fun for other people. This might be the most important rule.
      
    • Send me any questions or issues by PM, please do not post any questions about the game in the game thread.
      
    • I have the final say on any issue.
      
    • I have the right to edit this Ruleset at any time.

Deadline Rules:

There will be a 5 day rolling deadline.

Every elimination/daykill will reset this deadline and the vote count.

We will enter

Twilight

as soon as a player reaches enough votes for elimination.

Eliminated players may not use a daykill - even if the game is in twilight and they have not been "flipped" yet.

In the event that a Mafia player is being eliminated and that player also shoots, I will be using the time stamp to determine which action occurs.

Votes/Unvotes will not count in Twilight.

If we go five days without a daykill/elimination, the Mafia will get to choose someone to die

Personally, I am a bit tired of having to blatantly ignore most of T3's posts...

It is like he has decided to adopt the playstyle of being actively scummy regardless of alignment to make himself hard to read, and I am not a fan :/
