No wait this shouldn't be overlooked this is really important. The closer you get the baton to the end, the more power you have.

I think it's not just important to give someone the baton to someone just because they're town but someone who will (probably) give it to someone else who you both agree is town. That way more reads can be generated as well as relying less on gut readings.
