Dwlee, I'm curious what parallels you saw between my tilt in this game and my tilt in D&C.

My first tilt-session in D&C was a very quick 4/5 post back and forth with Brighter just to get townread by that slot, and it was at the very start of the game. The second I realized I had accomplished my goal I moved on.

My second was with Dunnstral, who was townreading me all game. I would tilt to play up being offended. There was no real attempt at nuanced conversation or debating alignment.

I think they're actually extremely different; here Aristeia is convinced I am scum for both day/mech play, the debate was about whether or not she understood my point w/r/t teams, and there was a much more mutually vicious 1v1 side to it that was not there in either of the above. You also seemed to get my point immediately, so I imagine my tilt was not hard to understand either.

Somewhat humorously, my fake tilt in my first run-in with Aristeia was actually much more comparable to this one

I just felt the vibe was similar from my memory. Those weren't the only instances of tilt in the game either, you also tilted at me after hammering me and me being annoyed.

the human mind has an incredible ability to alter memory in a way that hides deficiencies - writing down thoughts and decision points is critical for honest self review and assessment.

I did this once and had really good reads that game day one and day two when I got mislimmed but it meant I had to spend most of my time looking at the game on a computer and I never actually fully caught up

My criticism is that you learned to focus on me first, to sort that first and force it through and leave the partner spec for later. The mistake I made that you were calling me out on was that I hardshoved your partner instead of shoving you.

I am not shoving you or skitter atp because I don't like relying directly on mech without letting the game progress naturally first.

Because if the mech is wrong or a red herring, we are missing out on a lot of actual dayplay.

Also it is somewhat unenjoyable for me to strictly play based on mechspec with a good playerlist - I don't think I would get any enjoyment out of catching a skitter/you scumteam strictly on mechspec.

Agree that the initial scumread was too strong and rereading the argument about Ari pushing partners over prism directly it doesn't make much sense when comparing to this game
