Err, to get this started, I'm going to say that I am about the worst person to get cleared, so I'm going to request that I don't be lynched day 1.

Then again, if you all think I'm scum, the alternative is to lynch me day 2, which is a loss.

Its blatant in its request to not be lynched. While town wouldn't mind being lynched D1 (at least, not more than out of the fact that scum wasn't lynched), scum do not want to be lynched at all. On the other hand, he seems to be genuinely confused about how QLing in this setup would work, which would indicate that this could simply be the product of his personality. IceGuy was the one that'd played with him before, right? What do you think of his play here?

As for Saulres, I concur that he's jumpy. I've played with him once before, and while it was over a year ago and I don't quite remember the details, he seemed relatively more calm there and then.

You have taken to insinuation of "backpedaling" as an accusation of scumminess. I never associated it with your alignment.

When something's "noted," it usually means you find it suspicious.

Also, regarding my question, it was simply to jumpstart discussion since I think an RVS is a bad idea in this game.

I don't like saulres. "Doesn't want to be lynched" is not a tell. Nobody likes to get lynched period, and him bringing up the tell and setting him up for a quickhammer also makes me suspicious.

Sorry for having to be prodded. I decided to take a site wide break because, while I enjoy the site, it also gets stressful.

I think I'm getting a better view of Timeater's playstyle, and I see now that just because his refusal to answer could be used to avoid having to posting made up opinions as scum, it doesn't mean that he is scum. I'd unvote him, but he's still the scummiest player:

Not only does this come from a suspicious mindset, as Siv put in better words, it's also hyperbolic in its untruth. Even if he's town, the scum would not have to lynch him to win. This could be a scumslip, because if he's scum, his opponents

Meanwhile, I don't really have anything else on any other player. Yes, Ice Guy's short and information-lacking posts do rub me the wrong way, but it could just be annoyed town. And while Siv's desperate desire to not be lynched is suspicious, it could come from a confused mind. And while Saulres initially seemed jumpy to me, I don't actually think he's dropped any scumtells, and I believe this too is simply a posting style. Really, everyone is at least a little bit null. I'm not really concerned about mislynching

Cobble, in his first post of the game, put Siv at L-1 without calling it. That bothers me for several reasons. Then he flipped back and forth between me and Tim. I meta'ed him just now and that's not how he's played town in what I can find; he's usually not jumping all over his place with his votes, and I found one instance where he said "That's L-1". Put this all together and I'm leaning scum on him. Would I vote? Yes, because not only is he leaning scum, but if he's town, it would clear a replacement on a slot that hasn't done much.

Keep in mind that this is a setup without power roles and even if there is a mislynch on D1, the townie is simply confirmed.

I wanted to see how you would react to obstinancy. I wanted to see how you would react when the tables were flipped. You were evasive and you backed down. I felt that was scummy. To say that I have EVER avoided "posting my opinions" in this game is insanely far from reality.

Defense of what? I already explained why I was very loose with my votes D1 where I had a 50/50 chance of voting for scum anyway. If only it weren't lylo: then every townie would have a 2/3 chance of randomly voting for scum today.

No I'm not. And I said "competition" because I forgot competitiveness was a real word.

Defense of this:

Meanwhile, Cobbler comes back from his break (with an obnoxious reason -- "oh, I took a site break, but didn't bother telling anyone who might be impacted by it") with possibly the worst "catch-up" post I've ever seen. He says basically, "I'm parking my vote on Tim and everyone else is null" which I read as "I'm hoping to get my mislynch and keep all my options open for tomorrow." On top of that he says "Timeater isn't that much scummier than everyone else" (so he's basically null too?), but still doesn't unvote to look for other scum, with about a week left to deadline.

I only went a little over the deadline, and it wasn't really planned before hand. Everyone

suspicious/null. The only player who isn't mod confirmed that's close to appearing town is Siv, and even that's just because he's acted so scummy it's almost hard to believe scum would actually behave that way. How was I supposed to know Tim would self-hammer?
