I love this format. And I agree with maruchan, I prefer and open setup if at all possible. The only problem I can see is if one of the people who made a mafia role is on the mafia team, in which case they'll be able to lie with impunity.

@alchemist-- I misunderstood the setup. Particularly the part about scum having extra roles grafted. Seemed like a no-brainer to massclaim and force out the scum based on roles.

scumreads are yakko and clumsy. particularly yakko. I agree with titus that it's odd both she and clumsy claimed ascetic. honestly I don't even know what that is, but I find it hard to believe two people have that role. though I admit I normally find setup discussion pointless.

There's also the fact he went around softouting the Dayvig and then asking about protective roles.

I read this as him trying to protect me and breadcrumb me as town in case he turned up dead somehow.

This is why I read him as town early. He knew, probably from my first post, and certainly by my second, what my role was. If he were scum he would have tried to dayvig me (if that possibility existed) or stayed quiet and hoped I didn't use my power, then NKed me. Or hoped a wagon formed and hammered me.

The sort of dumb thing about this setup is all anyone has to do is put a post restriction in and we can all confirm other people as town. very skewed towards town here.
