Everyone except this person

will use their avoid. Scum is forced to kill either themselves or this person. If the person is scum and avoids, they will be policy lynched the next day.

This way, town will be able to guide the nightkill and essentially turn a nightkill into a lynch.

Anyone who is voted to be the nightkill should follow the instruction, because failing to do so leads to a policy lynch the day afterwards and does not save the nominee.

So in addition to a vote, we choose a nightkill target. Anyone who ends the day before a nightkill target is established will be policy lynched.

Let's assume both you and alpaca are town and one of you dies. Does shos evade the day 2 lynch because he's high up the list? No. It would not work as a deterrent to lynching him.

Now again let's assume you're both town and both avoid. Shos shoots himself. Does his buddy (any of the other players) now score townpoints? No.

His play is absolutely nonsensical as anything but a gambit to 'clear' either of you or alpaca.

Shos is someone who likes crazy gambits and powerbussing and whatever and this perfectly fits him.

Let me start off by saying that the notion that twin wings would have been sure alpaca was town is very false. They openly state in 68 that they dislike alpaca's iso. Granted, in a later post they call him a townread, but then again all other remaining players were townreads.

Also alpaca, you make it seem like my votes on the major wagons made them tip towards leading to a lynch. That is not true, as those lynches were inevitably happening that day. I did not actively propose counterwagons, as the lynches were already on my preferred targets.

Both you and rach mostly agreed with the main wagons and did not propose counterwagons either, as evidenced by your lack of voting during day 2 and day 3. Therefore, we seem to be displaying similar behaviour. Then why do you hold it against me, but not against rach, for example?

Alpaca if you are town this is my last reach out to you. Explain to me why you changed so quickly on rach and especially why you are so certain on that read. I personally have trouble reading rach as she is apathetic and just floats by. Her interactions with shos aren't the best. I have enough meta on her to know she does this as town but I do not know whether she does this as scum. I am wise enough not to blindly follow a meta read of someone else and as such I cannot place her as any alignment other than by PoE. How come that you ARE able to get such a read on her?

I don't think the mod error mattered. It would have been a certain no lynch I think, even though the doc on twings woud implicate him being likely town. Or would twings not have been your MyLo kill?

Twings, your reasoning for why it could not have been a gambit was faulty. I showed that it was by reductio ad absurdum (link), but you were not willing to readjust. You simply discarded the possibility of a gambit and that made you both scummy (because it would have been in your own interest as scum) and wrong. I don't think you did other things wrong, as scumreading me and kuroi follows from the assumption it was not a gambit. Just keep an open mind!

The gambit WAS kind of out there, for me, at least.

I think shos would have been lynched day 2, so the gambit had to buy you at least one mislynch. I am not sure it did, in the end. Had you not tried the gambit, lynch order would probably have been shos->dgb->kuroi which would have secured the win.

So overall it was a fun but relatively poor choice.

Still, you might have won with a rach NK.
