Tepes and Maker have completely opposite styles. I would think it would be better for these two to feel each other out more before jumping into the clash that has a good chance of happening. Ofc Maker is pretty chill and prolly wont get angry (as with Tepes), but that is not my issue here. My issue is that there will be a lot of misunderstanding between these two.
Maker, why did you vote Tepes knowing there is such a gap in styles between the two of you?
it is anti-town to claim so early without even being prompted. don't do that if you are town it allows mafia to use process of elimination to find power roles easier

#BlameItOnTheWIFOM
How is it in the interests of town to sow WIFOM so early??
Its not WIFOMing Town, its WIFOMing Scum, there is a difference.

nope. it's also WIFOMing town because when time comes in a few days when people have to start claiming you're just going to make things confusing and confusion benefits scum,,
We'll worry about what happens in a few days in a few days, hows that?
It is Scummy IMHO to try and predict what is going to happen later in the game. At the very least, using it as a means of making someone look Scummy is pretty Scummy in my book. I honestly have not seen an accurate account of what is going to happen later in the game as from Town. Maybe like once, but its so hit or miss that its not even worth talking about.

Because I am floating my vote. I don't ALWAYS jump on the first thing that looks tempting. Sometimes, like now, all I really want to do is gather information and show I'm Town.

I actually put thought in to my response, sorry???
In post 76, Think Tepes wrote:........... uh, so because of that you keep your vote on a COMPLETELY RANDOM person over anyone you find suspicious?
Yes, is there a problem with that?
cos if votes are SO IMPORTANT to you that you refuse to change them,, you wouldn't have kept it parked on someone random over other people you suspected later on.
Your behavior is not consistent with any townie thought process.
You are assuming things.
1) That I think votes are so important that that is the reason that I am holding off voting.
2) I wouldn't have parked it on someone random over other people I suspected.
Answer to 1) I actually don't think votes are so important that I should use them sparingly. Its early in the game for one. Second, I don't really do/use VCA so I don't find the need to take that into consideration as Town. Sometimes as Town I vote a lot and it switches a lot. Sometimes as Town I don't vote very often. Sometimes I am more concerned about holding multiple stances so I am not concerned with the singularity of my vote.
Answer to 2) How do you know that? You don't that, that is a false assumption. I can try and go back a link times where I have said I floated my vote, but that would be painstakingly time consuming so I rather not. Sometimes I use what I am saying as a stronger driving force than where my vote is. Sometimes I use my vote on principle that I think that the current vote is very important at the time. Other times I am content to leave my vote where it is and let my words do the talking.

Yeah and to put "thought" in your response merits not reading anything on this thread
Quality over quantity. If you can make a lot of Quality posts that is one thing, but just spamming the thread with whatever comes into your head is another.

Why are you concerned with this?
Because its important for my win con for either alignment. I know why you asked this. You are thinking "Town shouldn't worry about looking Town" which is not true at all. If I am Scum read as Town and get lynched, is that helping or hurting my win con?
In post 95, The Poetic Assassin wrote:You are thinking "Town shouldn't worry about looking Town" which is not true at all. If I am Scum read as Town and get lynched, is that helping or hurting my win con?
I never care about looking town and haven't been mislynched at all.
So, I think you're full of shit.
Well, I haven't worried about looking Town when I first started playing and I was lynched Day 1 a lot.
How many games have you played? My guess: not enough to get lynched as Town.

at long as you don't insult the jury, ur good. judge aint in charge of verdict.
No but they do still hold power over how the trial flows.
Just because they don't have down the verdict doesn't mean they can't convict your ass.

VOTE: Maker
Maker has 3 posts in this game including an RVS vote. Also they are not playing Pro-Active at all. Their only real post have only been because I was trying to urge activity from that slot. One post a day is not enough to read someone when the slot isn't doing anything substantial outside of an interaction with one player after being prodded by that player.
Penguin has less posts, 2. But their second post was the best post of the game so far, so I don't think it is worth it to go after them at this point.

PA is assuming that lack of content is scummy. This may be true when all the high-volume posters are more Townish than the lurkers, but this is not the case here. Posters who post lots of scummy content are better votes than posters who post less content and are harder to read.
My reasoning was more than that, don't short sight me.

Tentative Town leans on Flubbernugget and Firebringer now.
Fire is a tentative Town read for Town reading me. Fire has seen me at my best in a mafia game and knows giving me a Town read is a dangerous thing as Scum.
Flubber is tentative Town lean because 1) it appears he is trying to move the game forward and 2) it seems reminiscent of a game I modded where he was Town and was lynched.
So these reasons are not super concrete at this point, but I think they are a good starting point.
Also, Slight Scum read on gerry. He seems to not want to push the game forward but is content to push what looks like an agenda, which I think is Scummy to push an agenda sometimes. He has also kinda had the attitude of "Uhg, this game sucks" but hasn't changed their attitude about that and tried to do something to change it other than giving reads and asking about reads.
