I'm trying to figure out why I don't like that vote . . . let me try to put it in words.

Like, esires's coming from a newbie that I just played with him where votes didn't move nearly as quickly. I don't think he was quite expecting for there to be the opportunity to put someone at L-1 quite that early. We definitely didn't approach that in our game.

His caution, compared to that game, is vaguely townie to me. He was scum there, and was a lot quicker with his vote then. I'm not like proclaiming him to be a townread right now, but it does seem a bit different then how he played in that game, so I'm keeping an eye on him. Part of my read is going to depend on his answer to 76

I can see why you/seagull feel like he's being too self-conscious, but I personally didn't get that vibe from him.

And the game was out of RVS at that point, and Hiraki's vote just seemed like he was trying to add force to a wagon that already had some steam. I see no indication that he doesn't actually like what esires said. It seems like he hopped on just because it was a wagon that's happening.

The fact that Hiraki announced the L-2 signified that his vote was serious, which is why I took it to be a real vote, and not an RVS vote. He apparently found *something* he didn't like about esires, but didn't feel bothered to share, and that's why it seemed opportunistic.

But the game was very clearly out of RVS at that point, with lots of people talking about esires. The vote from you and seagull were serious. Hiraki hadn't made an RVS vote. He suddenly voted on a wagon that already had serious votes. He wasn't voting at the time, so the timing and intent of his vote seemed serious. But he said basically nothing beforehand, and certainly nothing to show that he found esires scummy.

Yeah I forgot to list JJ as a player who isn't posting much. JJ was also quick to pull their vote off me but it was RVS so not too crazy.

On my wagon - no, nothing really strikes me as too scummy about the build up. I can see where it came from in reflection. Hiraki would be the one I'd eye as sus from the buildup due to jumping on at an opportune time without providing reasons but it seemed like wagoning for pressure to me.

I'm not really surprised you don't agree with my reads considering I was in sync with Frog most of the time over you, so I don't really know if this has to do with alignment or not.

I kinda hate 53 mostly because I feel like his justification for his vote is really bad. First off it's RVS, so even then while us voting him is a good way to get us out of the RVS, he seems to take it way too seriously. Secondly, the reasoning he made up was just sorta just really why Narna probably wasn't voting him, especially since no one puts theories out like that on page 2. Like, it's completely silly tbh.
jjh's 132 is sorta exactly how I feel about esires' 122.
I find esires' unvote scummy mostly because we didn't get much interactions with him, so he was never able to really form a read, and the unvote just seems like random. If they're town I'd expect they'd want more from us atleast before unvoting like that. I don't buy the progression being natural.

@JJ - Like I said, it doesn't worry me much since it was RVS. But basically, I could see it being possibly being a ploy to try to show how little you care about throwing your vote around (essentially to avoid being accused of what I was accused of, being too reluctant to vote and appearing scummy as a result).

Hi, this is my first game of Mafia in over 10 years so I might be a little rusty.

after reading the game 6 times over, it is obvious who scum is.

The way they cased Hiraki was scum motivated and had nothing to do with their alignment or the posts that they quoted.

DoctorPepper is obvious town so the whole spat between them and Doggo on page 3 and 6 was SvT meaning that Doggo has to be scum here.

I also think 63 was

a scum slip from Doggo where they didn't realise town knew they have scum day talk.

What makes it worse is when Cassandra tries to defend Doggo for the slip on 78

Therefore I think Cassandra is also scum here.

I'm not a fan of only having pre flip scum tells, and Cassandra's 82 was a bad attempt at claiming Night 3 doctor.

I like to look at the motives of things, and Doggo pushing Cane and Eddie is very town motivated, considering that Eddie isn't an IC, and neither is Cane. More people should be putting pressure on Cane and Eddie for this reason alone imo because as of right now, I'm doubting both or their alignments.
