I was a bit wary about Skitter saying she's OK with being policy lynched if she misfires, but factoring in the hated/loved part of it makes it necessary, yeah.

Worst case scenario is pretty bad - that being skitter is town and shoots town, so we policy lynch her, and barring any protection, a townie dies tonight. Then we're in 4 town vs 2 scum and we don't know what powers scum might have. We could potentially lose the game d2 or n2. That's a pretty bad worst case scenario so I'm a little wary about using the dayvig power now, but I also kind of feel like we have to or else skitter is going to be a question mark alignment-wise going into future days.

Odds-wise it's a 1/4 chance she dayvig's scum (without factoring in peoples' reads and stuff - just raw numbers).

And if skitter is scum the best she can hope for is a 1-1 trade - if town votes for her to shoot someone and she doesn't follow it, she gets lynched and then we're down to one scum. Or if she's scum and town elects her partner as the target and she follows it, we're still down to 1 scum.

Weighing all factors, I feel like it's necessary to use the dayvig today, but it's not clear-cut either.

The hated/loved thing is like a punishment/reward system. If Skitter misfires, town suffer for it, as we either have to lynch Skitter or we play in a very specific way that cuts some of our options completely. If Skitter hits scum, then not only have we hit one of the two scum, but the remaining scum probably has to nightkill Skitter even though their vig is used up.

Using this kill today when there would be a much better shot tomorrow is bad.
