The lynch was obviously awful. I didn't know I was putting Chick at L-1 (figured there was only one vote before Elmo's). Intent was to pressure biggest gutscumread.

same for me. she seemed scum to me, a lot of her stuff seemed like saying stuff for the sake of saying stuff ("a lot" being used uh loosely) like 29, 32 (as mathdino pointed out the notion of thinning the lynch pool is weak since the claims just get killed), 73 ("dude you don't have to point out l-2s every time, people tend to be able to keep track of it themselves" he thought to himself naïvely. also it seemed somewhat obvious to me we were revoting for funzies/reaction testing but idk i guess)

coupled with the fact that i remember town chickadee tending to not do that. at least in the most recent game i played she was fluffy/low activity early as town, whereas being not fluffy and talking superficially about the game seemed like keeping up an appearance

also 63 was like, what!?

i knew i was like 2 for 2 in mistakenly scumreading her early on in past games but also she just, like, seemed like scum more so than anyone else, and i figured she'd at least be easy to get a confident read on with more focus. little did i know there was already plenty of focus!

Had schadd lolhammered (or even purposefully quickhammered), I'm not sure I'd be scumreading. I actually 100% believe that he didn't realise he was hammering. So looking at schadd through the lens of someone who thinks Chickadee is just someone who's generally scumread, it's a shady as hell vote and the context around him jumping on the wagon is clearly opportunistic (again, assuming he didn't know he was actually lynching her).

This is combined with schadd being potentially someone that Creature handpicked to be scum.

i had been somewhat scumreading chickadee since the 30s (i have "chickadee is ickadee" in my notes from around that point) but didn't see reason to mention it. i agreed that her movement on bins was scummy in 66. you seem to think it's unlikely that i'm just town and scumread her and just voted at that time?

dunno where it's coming from that i'm handpicked to be scum as well. i rather think the opposite was true, which was like part of why i joined the game. creature has witnessed me being scum three times that i know of, all three of which i was like embarrassingly low activity and also really transparently like hated it. which are things that you would like avoid as moderator if given the chance.

1. Based on the VCA that I'm accustomed to, your spot on the wagon is straight-up scummy (again, this is if you L-2'd or L-1'd her, I believe you didn't realise the hammer).
(sidenote: I don't think I can perform the same VCA on ASP and Elmo because that was clearly early wagoning that I was asking for. The way you jumped on super-pinged me tho)
2. Creature's more likely to pick you as scum, and I'm kinda guessing Chickadee knew that (and is also substantially better at reading you than I am). This is based on what you said on page 1 (and no one suggesting any alternatives to who Creature would pick). Was that serious?

ucv — i feel pretty confident about this ucv read, despite usually being wrong after saying that. ucv has kind of a unique "tryhard" style of posting when he's scum, and if he were scum i would imagine that he would have fabricated a case on someone today already and would be pushing them instead of sheeping me. specifically, 152 seems to me to be something that would only come from town ucv – i think scum ucv would definitely come up with something to push at that point.

schadd — i think schadd is town, but it's probably one of the reads that i've put the least amount of time into. in terms of the quickhammer i think it was a mistake no matter his alignment. i'm only familiar with schadd's towngame but it doesn't seem like he would go for a quickhammer as scum, and especially not after specifically bringing up how he doesn't quickhammer earlier in the game. one of the main things that i'm townreading him for (which, granted, maybe i shouldn't be) is this:
