Mathematics were never about what is easy and hard, It has always been about being real. The truest mathematicians were the ones who held the truth.

Until in 1777 Euler decided to announce the arrival of a danger. A number that defies nature. One that defies... everything...

Thus the imaginary numbers were born...

While the timeline would go through the point where humanity tamed the beasts that are complex. The reality wasn't as kind. Corrupting the past and the present ... and definitely the future the Complexity only increased. On a final bid a few mathematicians found the only way to defeat the complex numbers... By merging with some of the real numbers and using their techniques. They hope to find the complex ... before it all becomes unreal.

a complex number is a number that has a real and imaginary part (a+ib) where i is the imaginary part.
In depth explanation later. (Pm me if you want that!) what matters is:
-Square root of -1 is 'i'
-When integrating or deriving it is considered a normal number.
-While there are a few forms for complex numbers we will only use the rectangular notation (also known as the a+ib notation)

Deriving(Was written as differential here. Sorry for the typo!):

Special rules:
Derivative of ln(x) = 1/x
Derivative of Sin is Cos.
And Derivative of Cos is -Sin

Usually when we do an integral we have a constant. (C) but in our game we will ignore it's existence/consider it as zero.

Each day has a deadline of 2 weeks. And nights will be 2 days long. Deadlines will be written in every vote-count. Deadline extensions may happen in cases that require them.

Communication:

No out-of-thread communications are to be done unless I clearly tell you that you can do so. And when I do you can only communicate in the PT/QT/etc that I specify.

Respect:

Respect your fellow players and your mod. We are all here to have fun so please refrain from personal attacks. If personal attacks occur the incurring party will be warned.

Logic:

I am a mere mortal human and I can make mistakes. Anything that is well known to be a no-no (

Such as trust tells/small text/etc

) will be punished.

Use common sense and logic to think if whatever you are about to do is within the rules.

And don't think you can outsmart the rules. If you pretend to break a rule or try to find a loophole for the rule you will be punished as if you broke the rule.

Inactivity:

If you disappear and stop posting for 48 hours you will be prodded. Not responding to a prod within 24 hours (or having two prods in the same day. Or 3 prods total) will force replace you.

Voting & Lynching:

This game has a special vote system. There are two kinds of votes, normal VOTE: Name and

Reveal:Name

. You can be doing one vote at a time. The normal vote causes a lynch while a reveal vote will reveal the person's formula (thus his alignment as well). Each kind of vote might have its pros-cons on the long run. Proceed with caution.

Majority:

You need to reach a majority in ONE of the two votes in order to achieve a lynch.

Number operations:

There are players in both factions who can apply some number operations which can either buff or hurt your chances (or equate you to zero.)

Factions:

There are at least two factions in the game which includes the Real Numbers (known by thier equations being free from any kind of imaginary number

(i)

and the Complex Numbers (Known by having an imaginary component.)

Example of a Real Number: X^123+54 (No this doesnt exist in game)
Example of an Imaginary Number: 123+i54
