I still don't understand what Alchemist's post restriction was. It looked like it changed every day but couldn't tell what it was on day 3 when he got modkilled. I also don't know what his restriction was on day 1.

I need to apologize for the decision to modkill Alchemist21. I didn't want to modkill him, and it's true that if he had lived or was force-replaced, the entire game would almost certainly have gone in the other direction. I just would like to explain that, while my thought process was certainly flawed and I did not make the best decision, I wasn't going on a trigger-happy modkill rampage when I did it.

There was no way I could publicly warn people not to deliberately break their post restrictions - after all, that would confirm that Alchemist21 did have a post restriction. Same goes with force-replacing him, and that would give information that I wasn't supposed to give. I didn't think about just giving a private warning as that only applied to accidental post restriction breaches, but in hindsight that would've been the best option to take. Really sorry about that.

Thanks everyone for playing, and I will definitely keep your feedback in mind if I choose to host another post restriction mafia!

You should never let trivial stuff change big stuff. Post restrictions are trivial, modkills on docs are not.

Yeah, I think having many post restrictions that made it hard to post was an issue, which was compounded by the post restrictions which actually relied on the posting of others, and caused the severe low posting issue.

It was a fun game nonetheless, but the restrictions did all add up to a low activity game.

What can be done to avoid the "if I just force replace someone for breaking post restriction then it's known they have one" issue is that you add a rule to your ruleset that pretending to break a rule receives the same punishment as actually breaking it - that is, you force replace players who act as if they're broken their post restriction on purpose, as well as those who actually do break their post restriction on purpose. That way, you avoid affecting the game with modkills but still leave it ambiguous as to whether or not they actually had/broke a post restriction.
