General
  1. I am the Mod and what I say goes. I reserve the right to change the rules or modkill/force-replace players as I see fit. If this happens, all players will be made aware of this fact.
  2. That being said, I'm not perfect. If I've messed up or you have any problems or questions, feel free to PM me.
  3. Preface all in-thread messages to the mod with
    @Mod
    .
  4. Punishment for breaking any of the following rules is on a case-by-case basis and is therefore not fixed.
  5. This is a game. Play to win, and don't ruin it for others.
  6. DO NOT TALK ABOUT ONGOING GAMES.

Posting and Voting
  1. I hereby reserve the colour
    #FF6600
    for mod use. Don't use it.
  2. Do not use invisible, encrypted, or ridiculously small text. Everything posted in the game thread should be public.
  3. All votes must be written in
    bold
    or use the VOTE: Player tag. Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.
  4. Votes may
    not
    be contained inside quote, code, area, or spoiler tags.
  5. A lynch is reached when a majority of all players (half rounded down plus one) are voting for the same target.
  6. Once a majority is reached you may continue to post until I lock the thread. Any unvotes after a lynch has been reached will not be counted.

Activity and Deadlines
  1. Failure to post within 48 hours without advance notice will result in a prod.
  2. You have 24 hours to respond to a prod, lest you be replaced. Regardless, three prods will result in a force-replacement.
  3. If your role gives you access to a Private Topic, you may request that a partner be poked. This will not count as an official prod.
  4. Please give notice of V/LA in-thread or via PM.
  5. Each Day Phase will last two weeks (14 days). Extensions may be given in case of replacements.

Game Setup
  1. This game will start with 7 players and will be a confirmed

  3. On odd-numbered Days, normal lynching mechanics apply.
  4. On even-numbered Days, a nomination mechanic applies to the lynch. At the start of Day, the mafia must select any three players (including themselves) to be available to be lynched. I will announce who the nominated players are for this day, and then everyone (including the three nominated) must only place votes on those three players until one is lynched.
  5. Town must lynch every day; as such, a plurality lynch rule applies at deadline if the town cannot decide. In the case of a tie, the lynch will be randomly decided.
  6. Mafia have daytalk.

Wait so if a tie results in a No Lynch what's stopping us from just No Lynching on even-numbered Days and taking away scum's influence over the lynch?

Although... we could theoretically kill both mafia D1. If plurality lynch is indeed enforced. If we get everyone to vote each other with a partner, as in "partner up" so no one can play chicken and unvote themselves at last minute, we could mass-lynch most of the players. The catch? If both mafia are in this mass lynch, one would HAVE to vote someone to add at least two votes to somebody so that they can avoid dying, which would out them and only cause one townie death.

Am I wrong?

Ooh, I misunderstood plurality lynch then... though my idea would've been sick you gotta admit it'd catch scum pretty easily. We'd only need to TR ONE person and let them live so town wins.

Hmm, the rules seem to contradict each other a bit.
Town must lynch every day. As such, in the case of a tie vote, I think the fairest result is that it will be decided randomly.
If anyone has a better suggestion that results in only one lynch let me know.

Plurality voting normally breaks ties by seniority of the votes. If A and B have X votes, then whichever reached X votes first would be lynched.
