Setup

• This Setup contains 4 Vanilla Townies and 1 Mafia Goon.

Game Specific Posting Rules

• There are only two types of text allowed in posts. These are VOTE: Playername and UNVOTE: Playername.
  
• Each post may contain
  at most ONE
  of each vote and unvote. Playernames must be spelled or abbreviated, you may
  NOT
  do the following:VOTE: Hi everyone I think XYZ is scum because they are voting ABC and that's opportunistic
  
• In addition to the above, you may also quote any number of posts

i'm gonna respond here from the perspective of me being town - omgus is an entirely valid reason to vote someone, especially when we were essentially in rvs and people's reasons boiled down to either gut or shouting "chesskid". little reasoning? seriously? i provided more reasoning than any other player at the time.

i wasn't attempting to make a case on him, i was just trying to get the point of "actiondan has had a chance to respond but he hasn't" across, there was no way to do that without also including the "scummy" part. you need to look at the context of what i was saying and not simply the actual words. that's why i even included my "readslist" in 49 - i was trying to say that i still townread dan but i wanted him to react.

here's what every one of my posts was meant to convey, both for anyone who's interested and for anyone in future suav games to look back on:

17 - fairly self-explanatory. this one's just a simple reading - quote two posts, quote a reason, make a vote.
26 - quoting btd6's only post, a vote on voyager, along with the nightkill. this was meant to show how a scum voyager might have wanted btd6 dead. by the way, the logic on the btd6 kill was both that it seemed like he hadn't had a chance to update his will since the day ended and so that i could make this exact point to frame ucv.
27 - quoting the lynch and monkey's will along with voyager's hammer, again as part of my scumcase on ucv.
29 - this is me trying to express my frustration with the "has had a chance to react to [event]" argument. in a game where we can't talk it's a bit hard to give opinions on something, so when it seemed like people expected me to respond to points that i had actually no way of responding to, it got me a little upset. in future suav games i hope that reason just isn't included.
30 - more of my case on voyager.
33 - i'm pretty proud of this post - this is my "readslist". actiondan is on the side of the "vanilla townie" role pm, voyager is on the side of the goon role pm and the two "chesskid" quotes are meant to introduce an element of symmetry to make the point more clear.
35 - here's an extension of the "readslist" strategy. voyager responded to one of my case posts by saying that his primary justification was gut, so i included the "gut" quote on the side of the "goon" role as an attempt to say that it was a scummy reason to vote or suspect someone at this stage in the game, along with the "chesskid" quotes again for clarity. the vote was there in case it wasn't clear.
37 - just some scum theatrics, playing the part of the townie frustrated at obvious scum.
40 - saying that voyager is omgusing me, with chesskids for emphasis.
42 - voyager made 41 presumably to try to say that omgusing isn't a scumtell, so i quoted his hammer to remind him and dan of the other part of that will, how anyone who hammers is likely scum.
43 - more casing.
46 - this is just me making a post to say that i was actively in the thread if dan wanted to "discuss" anything.
47 - what i talked about before about how dan hadn't really commented much on me or voyager. this might have had the unfortunate side effect of making it look like i scumread dan.
49 - me quoting dan's last 3 posts to show that they weren't reacting to anything and me again using the role pm notation to show how it wasn't meant to be a scumread.

it's a really cool format and lends itself to creative play! have you thought about trying it in the blitz queue? that might be a way to experiment with different setups, rules or given quotables.
