I thought Red was going to be the last anti-town there, lying slightly about my role.
My win condition was win with mafia, or find and pm Red. If I managed to contact Red, I win and my partner dies.

If you remove the mafia influence (one kill then both being removed from relevance), that was effectively a 5v1 role madness game- with the lone role not having a kill.

I'm glad I won but I wish I had to work harder for it. I was Arya Stark. I killed anyone who tried to kill me and I was investigation immune. I was told that I would investigate as "Town - No One" so I figured that was what Gamma was commenting on when he asked about visiting no one.

Too bad this game died the way it did. It seemed like a really fun setup.

Sorry, but this game was not only horribly swingy, it was also clearly bastard. The mod did not do their job properly:
There was an extremely swingy minigame: It could result in the removal of all mafia(which it did) or in an extra town death.
With a Day 1 mislynch and the extra town death:
Day 2 possibly:3v2v1. That should not happen. Worse, with a Night 1 vig against the reflector: 2v2v1. The town should not, ever, be held hostage by Day 1 and night actions to lose. WITH THE FAKE KILL EVEN 1v2v1(with one revive next day)
With a Day 1 mafia lynch after the town extra kill, and vig shooting the reflector:3v1v1.
WITH THE FAKE KILL EVEN 2v1v1 AFTER A MAFIA LYNCH!!!!!(which crosses the red line of day play(town not having majority after only scum lynches is absolutely not acceptable for any game named mafia, no matter how bad the night play is))
These are outliers? Sure, but such outliers should not have this effect, ever.

There was a clear bastard role(in a game announced as not bastard): The reflector.
This is clearly a jester-type role here, and it played out as such.
It punished the town and the mafia for normally correct night actions. A bomb or PGO punishes Mafia and vigs, too... but they at least get rid of the enemy as a 1v1(a trade). A mafia PGO exposes themselves when breadcrumbs exist. Here the normally correct play resulted in a selfkill and nothing else!
The vig shot scum, and that's why town lost. Does this sound like a good thing?
If mafia ever shot the competing scum that would make them unable to win without the help of the town. Does that all sound like non-bastard?

Let me go through this part by part. Because yes, the setup was a bit too much, But this happens often with Upicks.

Anyhow it is very difficult for this situation to happen as the town had ways to not have the happen, the only way for it to happen is for the roles to use that in the wrong time and the wrong way.

The entire "mini game" aspect required everyone to participate from both town and mafia side to work at it, If the town players decided its not worth the risk or the mafia decided not to try to work on it then its invalidated, Anyhow It was a bit over the top of a concept and I might work on making a few changes on it. But I wouldn't consider that part really bastard. Moving on:

both the town and the scum had abilities which disable that effect, Additionally I'd say the reflector role is UNDERPOWERED as you have a third-party which basically has no nightkill. Infact the town would've lost much earlier if the 3rd party had a nightkill there.

Anyhow, I understand your frustration and I see that the setup had some issues, But overall Its not as bad as you descriped imo.

Any plus, Micros are very swingy by nature, I've seen micros end in 1 day or 2, This game just ended up much longer, And imo the inactivity of the game is one part of what killed it. (Imagine trying to find a crumb from the "minigame" in 50 pages without making it obvious)

I was only able to win how I did because Bu assumed it was another town person who had to contact Red, and consequently overlooked a comment that made it obvious if you realized the designated person could be mafia. If Bu had realized this, mafia would have both been alive after n1.

I think Jod was also our bottom killpick by a fair margin.
