I think it needs another trial run - w/ the no deadlines mechanic - to see if that is what caused this to flop or not.

It was a lot shorter than I was expecting it to be.

LyLo obviously presented a problem for the town. Ell could switch between her puppet accounts before town had a chance to react and then push the ML through, ensuring her win. This might be something that needs to be addressed in the future.

the setup was balanced but lack of meta really fucks things up

and ellibereth never slipped hard enough for the "one guy running 2 accounts" thing to become a liability

i think this could be run as a mini, or even an open, with different mechanics/setup

also the issue you raise with lylo is exactly the same with 2 scum with daytalk organising a quickhammer

so i guess you could say that if someone who isn't shit at scheming was in control of the accounts, that's effectively a buff on par with mafia daytalk

the problem with canvassing for interest in a second setup is that it's revealing as to who the people behind the alts are.

i still think this idea had promise – certainly i messed it up this time, but i think the best plan would be to leave it for a while and come back to it sometime later.

in the future i will make some allowance for replacements so that any unfortunate situations that pop up can be dealt with.

the issue here is if you replace one scum, you have to replace the entire scumteam, and that's basically gg for the scumteam
so one person replacing out publicly basically confirms them as town
replacements would definitely have to be secret, and the mod would have to have the credentials for all the accounts
