Micro 793 Double Investigation I (Endgame)

Welcome to Double Investigation.

Rules:
1.Follow the Site Rules. This includes not talking about ongoing games.
2.You may have access to private threads (e.g. Mafia factional chat); you can talk about this game there, but you may not quote anything there here. You may not quote any game-related PMs without express permission by your game mod.
3.Play to win this game.
4.Lurking: You will be prodded after 2 days of no substantial contribution(no prod dodging). After 24 hours of an unanswered prod I will search for a replacement(unless V/LA). Four prods in total, or two prods in one day will result in an instant replacement. ASK FOR REPLACEMENT AND V/LA IN A PM.
5.Vacation/Limited Access: Tell me when you are going to have limited access. If you have limited access, you will still get a prod after 2 days, and you will be instantly replaced after 5 days in total.
6.Weekend: For the purposes of prods and nights, Sunday and Saturday count as one day.
7.CHEATING:Cheating(breaking site rules, posting while dead, quoting Role PM's without explicit permission, encrypting posts without explicit permission, editing/deleting posts without explicit permission) is forbidden. Don't do it.
Setup information:

8.Length of days:MYLO: 14 days.
LYLO: 7 days.
9.Length of nights: 2 days

10. Lynching:A lynch necessiates more than 50% of all possible votes. You may vote for No Lynch. A No Lynch needs 50% of all possible votes.

11:Hammer:As soon as the required number of people for a Lynch or NoLynch is reached, the game descends into Twilight.
12:Twilight:Alive people, including the hammered lynch target, may continue to post until the flip.
13:Flip: After the flip, if there is no one to replace, the game descends into Night.
If there is a replacement, the game will be locked(do not post). The game descends into Night after the lynch.
14:Investigation: In MYLO you vote like this: VOTE: Not Known 15 and Not Known 15. The two players being targeted will be investigated over night; town will return as town, Mafia will die and flip. The Mafia will kill an Investigation target over night.
In LYLO you vote for one player to be lynched.
15:Daychat: Every evil faction has daychat.
16:Abilities: Factional abilites may be performed in addition to any other abilities unless that ability prevents you from performing the factional ability.

Rule Breaking:
17:If you alone(not your slot) are compromised(you got information you should not have gotten) you will be force-replaced.
18:If your slot is compromised you will get modkilled.
19:If you are responsible for a modkill you will be modkilled and turned into a Neutral Survivor(you can't win).
20:Any town modkill ends the day.
21:Report any compromising information you identify as such and DO NOT spread it further.
22: Any rule-breaking may result in further punishment.
23:Actions of the Game Moderator may only be questioned by PM to them, or the Normal List Mod(or, in emergencies, the admins)
24:If the game moderator thinks that the game has been compromised as a whole, they will deliberate with the normal list mod what to do. This may include aborting the game, or making an offending party lose. Do not compromise the game.
25:When in doubt, ask the game mod

can we give some reasoning for these votes? I'm still on the fence whether I want to use the double investigate on generally scummy / less-involved players to force scum to make a suboptimal NK, or use it on some generally strong scum players (who usually appear town) to prevent worst case scenario where everyone gets snowed, and give us a better chance of conftown power player as IC driving the game in LYLO.

I think at the moment prefer to go with the mislynch bait/scummy players because I'd want the strong players competing to have to towntell in LYLO, and I personally find it's harder to make accurate reads as conftown because everyone sucks up to you equally instead of scum having to fabricate cases on you, but open to discussion on this.

To be honest I don't fully understand the setup.

Vijarada seems scummy and I wanted to build a wagon and math is a strong player who makes weird decisions as town so should be investigated early.

That said, what seems ideal is trying as hard as we can to include 1 scum in our lynch

Picking 2 town would be disastrous, as scum will just kill the strongest

1 scum down and tomorrow is Mylo again and we have 2 opportunities to catch scum
