The Rules

General

- Follow all site wide rules.

is my mod color. You may use it if you like, but do not attempt to impersonate me.
- Please treat your fellow players with respect. This game can, and most likely will get heated at times, but toxicity, harassment, and personal insults will not be tolerated. You get one warning from me if your behavior starts getting out of hand. Any more instances after that warning will result in you being force replaced.
- Do not talk to the players this game while it is ongoing outside of the threads that I have created for this game. Do not discuss other ongoing games in this thread.
- Cryptography/illegible/tiny text is forbidden. Everything you say should be visibly seen by all other players in the game. Breadcrumbing is fine and does not break this rule.
- Provable randomness is not allowed. You can use random.org to make decisions and you can even say "I used random.org," but you cannot post screenshots of your results.
- You may not directly quote any private communication that you receive from me into the thread. You also may not directly quote any messages you receive from other players in a PT, unless they are your own. You may paraphrase if necessary.
- Once you have died, whether through lynch or night kill, you must stop posting in the thread as well as in any PTs you may have access to. You are allowed 1 'bah' post that must be free of any game content.
- Play to your win condition, whatever it may be. Don't gamethrow just because you didn't role what you wanted or because you don't like someone on your team.

Activity & Deadlines

- Once you receive your role PM, you will have 48 hours to confirm per the instructions sent in your PM before I seek replacement. If the game has started and you have not confirmed your role yet, then posting in the thread will count as a confirmation.
- Prods will be issued after 36 consecutive hours without posting. Prodded players will have 24 hours to post content in the thread before I look for a replacement. If you post content before I find a replacement, then you will be allowed to stay. 'Prodging' does not reset the prod timer nor does it count as responding to a prod.
- If you anticipate being gone longer than 36 hours, then you may declare V/LA either in the game thread, through PM, or by using the V/LA tags. Players on V/LA will have their activity timers running at half speed during the time they are V/LA.
- Day Phases will have a deadline of 7 days. Extensions may be granted in special circumstances such as if a replacement is needed or if enough people request one and I'm just feeling nice.

Voting & Lynching

- Votes can either use voting tags [VOTE: AaronFrost] or bold tags [

] although I would prefer if you used voting tags. Unvotes are not required when switching your vote. Don't attempt to trick me, anything that I think is a vote will be counted as a vote.
- A player is lynched if they receive a majority of votes (50% of players alive + 1, rounded down). Once a majority vote is reached, the game enters Twilight and any unvotes/votes will not count.
- If a majority vote is not reached by the end of the deadline, then whoever has the highest number of votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, whoever reached the highest number first will be lynched.

Miscellaneous

- If you need to replace out for whatever reason, please do so by PMing me. Do not replace out publicly in the thread or threaten to replace out. Once a replace out request has been made public, the player must stop posting as they are no longer in the game. Once a replacement has been found, you are not allowed to replace back in.
- I try my best to make sure all my vote counts are accurate, but I may make a mistake from time to time. If I do make a mistake or you need to get my attention you can either bold the request in the thread [

] or you can just PM me.
- Punishment for breaking these rules will depend on the severity of the rule broken. In most cases I'll warn you or tell you to stop but if rulebreaking/toxic behavior continues then I may force-replace you or even modkill you depending on the circumstance.
- I'm the mod, so what I say goes. Any situations that come up not explicitly stated in this rule set will be dealt with as I see fit. Do not abuse any loopholes you may find in my ruleset. If you have any questions about my rules don't hesitate to ask.
