So, I'm just going off what I see here. Not my favorite strategy, I know.

Taly, you're town, what's the benefit of disclosing our heal reads now rather than later in the day?

I'm confident that Mafia would have more of a hidden agenda versus town.

They'd also likely want a narrowed pool of heal votes IF they don't see themselves as a viable option, assuming they'd still want to heal.

Giving an IDEA of one's heal reads accomplishes:

1)

Consensus among town players.

2)

Potential interactions to evaluate later in the game.

3)

Since healing is so mechanical based, one's decision revolving around their heal at any given point may support their claim further.

It's akin to an execution wagon but for happy things, haha. I'm not a VCA junkie, but healing implies a town read, so the idea of a comprehensive readslist especially D1 is useless if you're truly reading into a player's thought process.

My votes, regardless of mechanical healing or execution voting, always have some intention of solving.

I assume this means that even if a sentry attempts to steal the bug, as long as they aren't successful and the bug is in possession of someone else, they can still defend that player from the NK by the second ability?

Sentries may use both of their one-shots in the same night, if that's what you're asking.

(Also, don't worry about asking a lot of questions. I don't mind being pestered if it means the players understand the setup better.)

Hello guys! I'm viz and I'm replacing bugspray as you have probably read.

I haven't played a lot of mafia the past... 18 months? I guess it's been that long. Anyways, time to polish the rust and clean the dust and brighten this game up!
It's getting pretty late here, and I haven't done much in this game as far as analyzing besides looking at the setup and stuff, so I'll spend the rest of this night taking a look at what's been said so far with one eye and watching the telly with my other eye, prepare some sort of game plan (idk) and tomorrow morning I'll get back to you with my ideas and opinions on this game, as well as answer any questions you may want to ask me

Taly and I both claimed non-gardener (we're the only ones who bit on Bunnos massclaim thing) so now we're having our night actions vaguely directed while the rest of the town does something else. Also Bunno claimed gardener.

It provides us with a lot of info about the two of us tonight and potentially helps the sentry/doc powers get used effectively tonight and in future nights
