“Positive feedback” as used here is a technical term. It means that whatever advantage is gained early on tends to snowball, to the extent that coming back from the wrong side of the Day 1 execution is overly difficult for either team.

Unfortunately I replaced out as I was having difficulty with being able to keep up with the game consistently, although I did continue to follow the game from the dead thread and post my thoughts there. Thank you Lostego for replacing into my slot.

I really did not help my team at all so thank you for carrying. Both of them were really incredible. I've never rolled scum here before so this was a very interesting experience and I enjoyed it. Thank you everyone for making this a very nice game.

@datisi i have an idea.

make it so the number of scum + doom counters cap at 3.

doom counter basically is there to negate a scum elim, instead of just straight up letting scum bypass a ML.

with that change you can also make it so list is publishable once a game only.(in this iteration it is anyways which would be original intent)

i think that would swing it back towards a more balanced and less swingy setup.

Actually Amelie, had you listened to the reads I said to push inititally, you never would have ended up with the ability to vote Gimli the way you did, which got Infinity to town clear you, so that actually had a moment there.

You were too late. You didn't start pushing me until after we were okay with letting you in on it. It helped us that you were pushing us.

You didn't rally the other townies, I did.

You didn't use proper logic, I did.

I countered your chat mafia playstyle and put you in a situation where the more you pushed me, the worse you looked, which was what was setup.

Then Infinity duo'd with you, so it looked like hard flailing.

And you can ask players like Clidd/Infinity, that was essentially town me. You wanted to 1v1 me early, so I set up a gamestate where you 1v1'ing me would set the situation into a game win.

Like it absolutely doesn't matter if you scum read someone, you have to get them faded. I spent the entire game getting the proper dynamics with players.

You started to town flail, which I was always going to be able to counter. Any case you could make on me, there wasn't one that didn't make it look like you were scum trying to misfade me.

Yeah, I felt kind of bad, but Raya and I essentially played a situation where scum couldn't push us, they had to push you first, which is what happened. Middle of Day 2 I felt you'd end up being the game winning fade.

Looks like I fooled Not Mafia too, though.

Also, we carefully spent the time to convince Gimli to publish the list, and I do not think Gimli switched fast. Us getting him to trust us the way he did took time. The way Dkkoba pushed was the wrong way to go about it, and I knew exactly how Dkkoba was going to respond to almost anything I said.

I 1v2'd Clidd/Infinity and set that situation up early Day 2. then late I 1v2'd you and Infinity, which Infinity was in a really bad position game state wise, where him realizing I was scum was actually bad for him because you guys got gamestate locked.

I was basically Light Yagami, and before the death note took its effect, I revealed myself to you in the middle of everyone

The thing is, Dkkoba, that you failed to realize, is that I am illogical as town and logical as scum, it's one of the harder issues for me to play as scum.

Literally nobody ever sees my logic as solid when I'm town, and I specifically used your lack of knowledge of town me against you. I set you up from the beginning, and by the time you started pushing me, it was too late.

You needed to not shade/discredit so much because I had the advantage.
