I don't know what I do in the hypothetical world where you don't push me.

I probably make the right choice but I can't be certain of it.

I wanted to force the scum to make a first move because that's usually the best way to win lylos - if I make a move and it's the wrong move, then scum can hop on and the game is over.

then after Tris gets pushed to E-1 she comes in with:



A lol-hammer with no warning, no chance for tris to put final thoughts down or respond. She even sets up the attack today by pre-emptively blaming me for Tris-mis-elim.

Similarly at the end of D1, she has no progression on SirCakes. You can look at her iso, does she even mention sircakes before voting for him at the end?

Why would she do this if she thinks I'm scum? It literally makes no sense for her to do this - she wants the easy win and she is surprised I don't automatically scumread her back so she's trying to get me to cast a mis-vote for Andres here.

and she's now stuck in a weird place, she just unvoted me, she just tried to get me to vote Andres, but now I'm rejecting her offer so what does she do?

This is really not a town train of thought.

It doesn't make sense to make the first vote in lylo unless you are fairly certain the target is scum.

It definitely makes no sense to then unvote and ask your target vote to vote somebody else.

And then when you get rejected, you double back down on your target? What kind of progression is this? It makes no sense logically.

She tried to get me to vote for Andres so she could get a mis-elim, and when that didn't work she ended up doubling down on me anyway.

Now look at how she's misrepresenting this sequence of events today:



Now she's saying I am the one who was waiting for Andres to fight me... when truth is she was the one aggroing me and trying to get me to vote for Andres.

i think i stated before that if it's flea, fae's presence/timing on mafiascum makes it difficult to coordinate things

I had no reason to monitor the thread after my vote had been down and all players had been online.

I'm thinking Pooks+Infinity rn, honestly.

i dont think flea commits to voting you with me unless fae's going for the long con scumgame which i think is a very perilous game to play when the alternative is to vote me when everyone else seems okay with it

i've reverted back to thinking that andre is potentially your partner because of these things, that and also him saying "infinity trust me go ahead and revote" gave me major red flag vibes because hello? who is going to do that in a game and what do you think that's going to accomplish and this also ties back into infinity not being scum /because/ infinity didn't indulge this and i think that she would given that andres had already suggested he wanted to vote me -- it's reasonable that scum!infinity takes that gamble to see if andres just ends it. this becomes more likely to me because of the lack of time we have left in the game.

You are not a player I would trust to let me live in 3P Yolo, honestly, and regardless of that if I was scum putting a vote on you would be easy enough with pookys vote and Infinity could be coerced into hammering.

In the quiz bowl room there was only three chairs per team. Isis realized only two of her friends could play with her.

"Isis! Theurgia is probably going to ask a lot of questions about sports. I'm friends with her, I know what she'd do. You should pick me to be on the quiz bowl team, I will know the answers. If you'd picked me for volleyball we would have won?"
She gave Isis an optimistic smile.
"PookyTheMagicalBear knows a lot too. You should pick him"
Isis assented.
The three settled into their chairs and setup their buzzers. Each team answered about eight questions, mostly Isis. Infinity 324 and PookyTheMagicalBear each answered one, but wrong. Sports wasn't seeming to come up though.

There was one last question.

"The number cauldron brewing elements, the number of pieces of megazord, and the number of spots on an enchanted East Woodland mushroom cap are all the same number. What is that number?"
Isis conferred with her friends, hoping for information about it. They did not seem to know. They mulled over the answer.
Andresvmb thought about megazord and reflexively examined the activation watch on his wrist with a diagram.
He saw Theurgia looking at him closely. Suddenly, he realized she was examining the reflection on his visor. He hurried to cover it with his other hand, because he dearly wanted Isis to win at the quiz bowl. Not it was too late.

Theurgia buzzed in.

"Five!
It's five!"

It was always five. The same number of truly loyal friends Isis should have brought to her volleyball game.

Isis congratulated Theurgia for winning humbly. She was a little bit sorrowful, she had thought maybe quiz bowl would be a good club to join this year, but even with the help of friends she couldn't beat someone who only dabbled in it. Maybe it wasn't for her.

There were other clubs, with other possibilities. Doors close and open.

She made it home in time to work on her homework that day.
