1. Fundamentals

• All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
  
• This is a game. Have fun, and keep the game fun for other people. This might be the most important rule.
  
• There is no personal communication regarding this game outside of this gamethread & associated PTs.
  
• Do not quote any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, backup moderator, or fellow players. Do not reference timestamps of private communication.
  
• Do not engage in the use of trust tells.
  
• Heated discussion and debate is allowed, but personal attacks are not. I reserve the right to protect my players, and all other community members. Please PM myself and the backup moderator if you feel something needs our immediate intervention.
  
• If you make a post indicating that the game is having a negative impact on your out of game relationships or well being, you will be warned or forcibly replaced, depending on severity. If you believe the game is having a negative impact on your life, send me a PM rather than posting about it in the game thread.
  
• Play to your Win Condition.

2. Phases & Activity

• Please post at least once every 48 hours. If you fail to do so, you will be prodded. If you fail to respond to said prod within 24 hours, you will be replaced.
  
• Contentless "prodges" do not count for the purpose of resetting the prod timer.
  
• At the time you would receive a third prod, or fail to respond to a prod by posting in thread within 24 hours (or by PM if at Night), you will be force replaced.
  
• Day 1 will have a 10 day deadline and all subsequent Day phases will have a 7 day deadline. Nights will last 48 hours. If necessary, extensions will be granted for the purpose of securing replacements.
  
• Votes must not be spoilered and should be in the format of VOTE: Player or
  Vote: Player
  , or they will not be counted. Abbreviating someone's name is acceptable, so long as I can discern who you were voting for without trouble. If I think it should count as a vote, it will.
  
• Unvoting is not required, but is much appreciated.
  
• The following is a list of outlawed shenanigans:
  • Using invisible text, codes, cryptography, etc.
    
  • Editing your posts (if you have the power to do so)
    
  • Quoting any PTs you may have access to
• If any of these offenses are committed, I have the right to force-replace you from the game, or, with listmod permission, modkill you.

3. Miscellaneous

• Do not impersonate the moderator.
  
• Feel free to address me in-thread, but if there is a large egregious mistake please PM myself or Prism. Small matters like errors in the votecount can be posted in-thread.
  
• I have the final say on any issue. If you disagree with any action or inaction taken by me, feel free to PM myself or the relevant listmod, Something_Smart.

Geriatric Ruleset

This game is played under a Geriatric ruleset. This means that posting frequency is restricted as follows:

• Every player is allowed a maximum of 10 posts in a 24 hour period. In the 24 hour period immediately preceding a deadline, players are allowed a maximum of 15 posts. The definition of a 24 hour period must be provided by the moderator.
  
• Every player starts with a reserve of 20 additional posts. Any posts above the daily limit are subtracted from this reserve.
  
• Players who deplete their reserve will receive a warning. Any further infractions after that will incur mod punishment.
  
• If a player has hit the daily limit and depleted their reserve, they are allowed one naked vote change each in-game Day.

The post cap for this game will reset every night at 9 PM EST.

Since when has it ever been a good idea to instantly put someone on e-1? like, not just cause it's me, but like, what even?? town lol hammers all the time, but whatever, if yall don't vote me out for lols in the next 2 days, I can't wait to play!!! (I'd advise not hammering me... but whatever) At this moment Roadkill is probably my top SR, like, carelessly putting me at E-1? Does not feel like it comes from town at all.

I've put people at L–1 on page one as town, I would do it again, and I think forming big wagons out of the gate is a good thing. I don't find it suspicious at all. It's a slightly audacious move which I think is if anything a

very very weak

town tell since drawing attention is not a natural thing for scum to do so early.

Your post doesn't actually match what she's saying. Andante's claim is that

town

lol hammers all the time, not scum. Her top SR is Roadkill for putting her on E-1, the implication being that Roadkill is scum hoping a town might lolhammer her.

There are two questions here. One is whether what Andante is saying is true. I think it's not. I don't think town lolhammer in RVS very much, I think early E-1 wagons are pretty standard, and if Roadkill is scum I don't think that's his angle. The more important question is whether Andante believes what she's saying to be true. Maybe that's the case, and she's had specific experiences that lead her to this belief-state. Hell, maybe I'm just wrong on my first assumption and town really does lolhammer all the time.

I'm writing this post because you said her post was NAI. I think that's sort of true but I found the way you said it reductive. It's an early lead that might go somewhere and we shouldn't brush it aside. I'm not condemning her for it but I want her to explain once she's back from V/LA.

i put you on e-1 because i am disinterested in rvs usually, and doubly-so in a game with limited communication. it was beneficial to do something that gets a stronger response than throwing a vote elsewhere. i like the fact that you're immediately snapping back at my vote. though:

1) what about it was careless, the fact that it was done at all?
2) what incentive do you think town would have to randomly hammer there? do you not think that scum are more likely to lolhammer?
