This game is nightless. When a player is lynched on Day 1, the following will happen:

• If the lynched player is a Mafia Goon, that player must choose one of their buddies to be killed and also choose one town player, whose alignment will then be publicly confirmed by the mod.
  
• If the lynched player is a Vanilla Townie, that player must choose two other players to be killed. If either of those players is the other Vanilla Townie, the game ends immediately in a mafia victory. If both of those players are Mafia Goons, the lynched Vanilla Townie survives to Day 2 with their alignment publicly confirmed by the mod.

Please keep this in mind throughout. I am the final arbiter on dickishness, working from a baseline of 'I'll know it when I see it'. If you think that you might be about to be a dick, check with me before posting. Punishment may vary depending on extent of dickishness.

You MAY NOT directly quote communications from the mod or from any private topic to which you have access; always paraphrase. If you are ever unsure as to what is acceptable, ASK ME FIRST.

I would prefer for you to vote using the vote tags (example: VOTE: Nexus) but bolded text (example:

Once you are dead, you may not post. This means no "bah" post.

No Lynch is not a valid option in this game. Votes for such will not be counted. If a day ends without a majority vote, the lynch will default to the player with the most votes at time of day end. Ties will be broken based on which player was the first to reach that number of votes.

Days will be deadlined to 10 days each. This deadline will not be extended for any reason other than a Mafiascum server crash or similar.

At the end of Day 1, the lynched player will have a maximum of 48 hours to decide on their vengekills/confirmations (as appropriate), but I will action the first choice that I receive in favour of reopening the thread as quickly as possible for Day 2 and encourage as swift an answer as possible. If I do not receive a choice from the lynched player, their actions will be determined randomly.

Be respectful to your fellow players, bearing in mind Rule 0. Attack the play, not the player. If you can't keep personal insults out of it, I don't want you in my game.

Codes, invisible type, small letters or other similar techniques to conceal the content of your posts are forbidden.

Players will be prodded if they go 48 hours without posting, having not previously informed me of a V/LA period. The point at which prods turn into replacements depends on how much you're taking the piss (to be decided subjectively by the mod).
