this was an interesting game. for the record, I actually would probably have pushed against the "scum slip" hard as town, since things like that are practically never actually slips, but then the "confirmable town role"->"fruit vendor" claim... lololol.
17:2 is only horribly bad because it's a horribly bad setup to play
it is (provably) almost mathematically balanced, but still very slightly scum-sided - the figures i linked are the actual figures for each of those setups in a mountainous game (here)
you could argue that people don't lynch completely randomly which, while true to some extent, doesn't really mean anything unless towns perform better than random on average (which probably isn't the case)
