5 years later and I am still an absolutely shit scumhunter. This was definitely one of the best scum teams I've played against, even if you guys don't think you did that well.

I tried to show the right amount of paranoia D1, and play to my town meta where appropriate. I think D1 bought me some cred, then d2 eddie lynch got me just enough cred.

Mostly played like crap I still think though. Enjoyed playing with you though..you were really obvtown and enjoyable to play with.

The Eddie lynch was actually the main reason I felt you were scum. It felt like a really obvious bus. That, and your treatment of Bella, and sporadic posting, and your tonal stuff was flat.

But looking at Lowell there wasn't anything much better. Tonally he was good, that was about all I saw. I didn't trust my TR there at all after Eddie turned out to be scum.

Fro99er I definitely got completely suckered by your distancing with Eddie on d1. Big lesson of this game for me is to remember that just because someone comes out looking good when arguing with scum, doesn't necessarily mean that they are not scum as well

But if it becomes a pattern you only do as town, that's against the spirit of the game, and also site rules.

I don't think you're there yet though, but it did kinda suck as scum to have to deal with people auto townreading you for it

I have 10 completed games on site with one replace out
and that replace out was in that abortion of a game that James3 modded
literally by the end of the game every single slot had been replaced at least once
6/10 completed games I replaced

I legit don't see the problem here.
"It affected how people read your slot" is not an argument that is going to convince me that allowable actions are against the spirit of the game.

The problem, as I see it, is that scum can't fake a replace out/back in like that without being ethically dubious. Everything else town can do scum can (theoretically) fake but for them to do that they have to request a replace out knowing that they'll eventually cancel it which means making the mod do work (looking for a replacement etc.) in bad faith. Maybe some scum do this to get an advantage, but it strikes me as a little unethical.

I don't really have a problem with what TTTT did because I can understand where he was coming from, but I do think something like a rule saying that all replace outs are final when night starts would make sense.
