If a crumb seems like a stretch, I'll ask someone unaware of this game to judge if they would buy it (the crumb being a crumb, not you having the role) in a flavorless game.

You die if any player notes that you cannot use forum- or Mafia-related words, or something similar. The simpler observation that you cannot use a particular word will not get you killed.
As you may have inferred from the role PMs, from Day 2 on ZZZX would have received Gamma's crumbs from the previous Day, after which Gamma would get back a random role that wasn't crumbed. GIF would have received the role from the Day 1 list if he hadn't been killed and ZZZX didn't crumb all of the roles on the list.
