Immediately after I voted lizardqueen Iagainhad the strong feeling of having made a mistake.
I need to vote more on instinct and worry less about whether I have an articulable reason.“There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say, ‘There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say there are two kinds of people in this world, and the other kind,’ and those whodon’tsay. Well, then there’s me.” — J.R. “Bob” Dobbs- BTD6_maker

There were no other PTs.
Anyway, what did you think about the setup? Was it a success?
By the way, I had calculated that on Day 1 it is in scum's interest to lynch the other scum. They have a 50% chance of winning if the other scum is lynched and a 10/27 chance of winning (a draw is half a win) if Town is lynched. It is also in their interest to try to kill scum, unless they strongly suspect that they will be lynched in 3P LyLo.
Also, with "Play to win the game" I care about the spirit rather than the letter. It is pretty much impossible to break this rule by accident, as if you accidentally make a mistake that harms your winning chances I would not count that as being against the spirit of the rule. I interpret the rule as preventing things like losing on purpose, making trust tells, and making bets which affect future games. The rule should probably be "Play to winthisgame", as opposed to harming winning chances in this game to improve them in future games."one of these days i'll read you correctly" - Transcend, Micro 714- Assemblerotws

If you knew me, you would know I cannot be relied upon to manipulate anyone. Make the plans, yes. Manipulate people? Not a chance in hell.In post 65, boring wrote:Lizardqueen is posting stuff.
As for Vedith, provocative behavior toward an active player, when he could be acting friendly, tells me he's probably town.
If I'm left only lynching between Umlaut and Assemblerotws, I guess I'd rather lynch Assemblerotws, as things currently stand. His reaction to LQ's vote looked like he was trying to instigate Vedith to OMGUS. Also, the strategic-not-strategic lurking in such a short game is scummy. I'm willing to put him at L-1 when we get a little closer to deadline, if nothing changes.
I really don't like you this game. I can't put my finger on why.
Well, that's probably why.In post 174, BTD6_maker wrote:Lizardqueen was lynched!

I liked it, and I thought it was successful. I think the biggest danger is that it's so small, everyone has to be invested in the game. But the setup gave everyone an equal stake in the win condition, which makes it more exciting. In post 178, BTD6_maker wrote:Mod topic

And I'm sorry for so frequently claiming incorrect best practice in this setup. I just figured it was a good way to look like I was trying to solve things.- Umlaut

I liked the setup. I'd play it again. Hard to say if it's balanced from one datum, but that's all the more reason to run it again.“There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say, ‘There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say there are two kinds of people in this world, and the other kind,’ and those whodon’tsay.
