I was kind of hoping to iron out my cfj suspicion with you and an active nm, but frankly given how the dunker and nm slots have played I would be too upset at letting either win as scum to leave anyone else alive.

This was a town game, so is probably legit, and not really enough to change my read here. I won't L-1 for the time being though in case anyone finds this worth exploring or might want to delve into her offsite games in search for one as scum.

Wow was that game where you were scum massively scumsided. You were a 1×deathproof 1×dayvig as an informed minority, when there wasn't even a unified uninformed majority to oppose you?

I don't think the existing meta is going to be very comparable to what I'm used to, though. If that setup had been run over here it'd almost certainly have reached over 100 pages. So I'm not sure I can really draw any conclusions from this (except that your play this game doesn't seem particularly similar to your scumgame there, but the games are so different that I wouldn't really expect it to be comparable even if you were scum).

Yeah lol I love GoT and was super excite to be the dragon queen but because the whole faction's survival depended on me staying alive I had to stay as low key as possible. The games on the forum are all based around power roles and the ability to write fake role PMs or fake entire PM convos with others/the mod. The rules are very different and we all know the players from risk games. I'm modding my first game there after the current and I don't know how convertable the set-ups here will be to work over there. I have to say I loved the mislead set-up that CFJ ran, super cool flavour, but I think that's too complex for where our D12 group are at atm.

Very, I started off thinking he was LAMIST but after I had a look at the previous game he provided it was obvious that he's always an obv. town player, granted I haven't seen a scum game. Also him being the creator of this game reinforces why he cared so much for himself and others to be town. And last, because there is only one scum left GG.

Not only did I get a new job, I started some classes and got even more hours at the old one. And that included being passed over for promotion and then being shifted over to a new area for training for a promotion.

@Cheeky: I'm interested in your scum strategy now. Were you consciously trying to manipulate us? Or were you trying to emulate town play, without caring much about what consequences that would have? (Both methods can work for scum, and it's not entirely clear from the townie point of view which you were using.)

Also, this game is good evidence for the theory that although high activity is not a towntell, very low activity makes it very hard for a player to take their slot out of the lynch pool. If ASP/NM had been more active, and done even a smattering of things that made it possible to read, that slot would probably have ended up being left alive over Cheeky. (Dunker's was probably beyond saving at that point, as lack of activity wasn't the main problem there; the reads and their reasoning were.) If you're being intentionally unreadable, don't be surprised if people read you incorrectly!

I don't understand why people scumread Dunker. I offered to replace in for ASP and then changed my mind and offered to backup mod instead, but when I read the thread thinking I was going to be playing, I thought Dunker was obvtown. I don't think posts like 218 ever come from scum.

218 is good in hindsight, but in the game Id dismiss it as nai because it is genuine but also fake-able. Though scum tend to be more jokey or cutsy about those kinds of posts.
