I don't see that in 148. You're making a bad case here, Xyzzy.
Sure, distancing your partner by voting them is something that could happen in this set up, but do you really think Black star does that here? Yuo're more likely to be doing it.

pedit: Lol, so as soon as I lay out a case for you being scum you suddenly believe I'm scum?
Exactly.
are you saying me/BlackStar could be scum? that seems like a weird conclusion to draw here.

No way this comes from Scum who's partners with Brie, IMO, so that leaves Brie and HWS. In the off-chance it's still either BS/xyz, I'll vote HWS whenever somebody else moves over. Let's end this plz?
Also, as for my "idea" it was a bit flawed (and annoying to try to research)
Turns out nsg posts a
LOT
, and in a
LOT
of topics
I had hoped I could narrow you 4 down to somebody who had either played with/in a game modded by nsg and made a distinct impression on them (increasing the chances they may have picked you for Scum), or somebody who had
NEVER
played with/in a game modded by them (and would therefore stick out as a name that could be used to reverse-psychology the same principle). But it didn't take long for me to get really annoyed searching through a bajillion topics. So the point is kinda moot, and at this point I'm just curious who Scum is so let's end?
If you and I are the only ones around, we need to coordinate
I will not vote for xyz
I would prefer to vote HWS over Brie
You would prefer to vote Brie over HWS
...convince me not to vote you instead, because if you refuse to move your vote you're saying you'd rather the Lynch be random, and I will not allow that:
vote HWS or I'll put you at L-1, and with the most votes you'll go down at deadline
In post 191, Maestro wrote:if you refuse to move your vote you're saying you'd rather the Lynch be random
It should be obvious that if you try and pull some stunt and vote me at this point, it would still be random. I'm the one with the controlling vote unless one of the others comes back - the 2nd vote is as good as a hammer here. Work with me; the time for being bull-headed was last week.
I wrote out this long ass explanation on why TheBrie is scum.
In post 133, BlackStar wrote:I'm pretty sure that TheBrie is scum. We should've lynched her yesterday. I already explained the reasons why I didn't like her posts before, but then she did something that made me suspect her even more. If you look through her ISO you'll see that she didn't express any scum reads on anyone.
When the deadline was closing in she made this post.
Well five and a half. I'll be back home before then. Not that it makes much difference. Invis is dead either way, as where's no way votes are shifting off there. And objectively he is the worst player in the game.
I looked at a couple of completed town games, and they seemed better than this. His questions were better.
Intent to hammer before deadline.
Notice that nowhere in this post does she say that she actually scum reads Invisibilty.
In post 121, TheBrie wrote:Beat you to it. Mind hasn't changed while I was out. (not that supervising tween girls learning a play gives anytime to think)

But then she votes for him anyway. She voted for him because he was "the worst player here", not because she found him scummy. There's no reason for a member of the town to do that. Bad doesn't equal scum. It looks like scum coming up with a poor justification for those vote. That's why I said that I thought we might've lynched the wrong person after I saw Brie's vote.
VOTE: TheBrie
You keep saying hewhoswims is obviously scum but you're not laying out the specific reasons why you think that. He hasn't acted townie, but he also hasn't done much in general. I just don't feel reasonably certain that he's the right guy. I've already given reasons why xyzzy could be TheBrie's partner, but I'm not certain about that either. I don't see why we need to worry about the partner when we can just lunch Brie. And I don't like your ultimatum. So tell me why you think hewhoswims is the right lynch
You've said about as much on Brie as I have on HWS, so don't turn this around on me
Tell me why you refuse to compromise on HWS, given that I'm the one you need to convince, not the other way around. You already have your vote down and locked into this little three-way you all started earlier, and that's your problem. As I've already said: if you and I are the only ones around, you need to work with me or I can and will assume you're coming from a Scum place with your stubborn fixation on Brie and your refusal to lynch HWS.
I'd rather not leave open the possibility that we end up with a tie given the mechanics around having a tie at deadline. I feel like Maestro is definitely town and I trust his instincts here, so

I don't refuse to compromise and you haven't said anything about why you think he's scum. If you gave me reasons why you think he's scum besides "he's obviously scum", I'd consider it
