They can't really prove anything from what they choose as alignment. There is a chance that scum may go for a obscure town card and hope that it isn't countered, or they go for a safe claim in VT which leaves us nothing much to go on.

I think we are infinitely better off as town pressuring some wagons that can get some backing rather than fanning our votes out as widely as they are right now. I mean, 7 people with 1 vote, and 2 people not voting. We can play

But the deal here is he threw away a particularly powerful scum card, one that would have been very useful if he's scum. That's why he's more likely town.

This is also why I'm getting heat from my discard.

Frederick Campbell, however, might be wise to claim both his alignment card and his playing card, to potentially have us look at another target.

It can't be such a bad idea as such, scum will not squirm if we aren't claiming because they will just take out the stronger players and dictate to the less players who aren't in a strong position to stem the flow. Once the numbers start going down, they know exactly what roles to claim, and how they can easily get away with it because they don't have to prove it because it will be more believable.

I read through a previous game in the same setup, and we all claimed our alignment cards, we caught one scum straight away from doing so, and it setup the next line of interrogation due to there alignment claims.

Tell me, what scum can achieve by not claiming there alignment cards?
