This was a fun game! Sorry you were scum all by your lonesome e, but good job to the rest of town I'm simultaneously sad I couldn't use my JK ability and happy about being able to celebrate a rare Day 1 win. I was starting to have doubts towards the end of the day, but I'm glad I stuck with my gut. I think this was easily my strongest town game (I've been notoriously bad as town in the past), save for the 1v1s with bill.

I wasn't kidding when I said I liked using that Scum-O-Meter that e came up with. I'll probably be taking that with me going forward. It really helps me narrow down my thoughts on each player and get a good idea of how I'm reading the game.

Not sure if you're still around inferno - I didn't really want to get into this during the game, but this comment really made me want to reevaluate your slot later on because I think you realized you had made a mistake with your reaction to the Penguin push.

IMO, the best way to move on from a shitty play as town is to just acknowledge that it was a shitty play, explain your reasoning for why you thought it was a good decision at the time, and try to move forward. Effort a little bit more and try to advance the game. You may still be scumread by other people for your actions - that's just something you accept and you're going to have to work a little harder to make people look past the bad content by giving them more good content to look at. If you get lynched for it, learn from the mistake for future games, and know that town can at least take your pushes and thoughts from when you started efforting as genuine.

(Also, don't double down on your argument with someone and then claim you weren't that serious with it in the first place. Saying that you reevaluated the read because of xyz reasons and you're less confident now is a much better way of explaining your progression.)

You were definitely my strongest townread from early on through the end. That made it much easier for me when trying to sort others.
